We are a Union Civil War reenacting group that focuses on telling the story of the 2nd Rhode Island Volunteer Infantry that served from May of 1861 to July of 1865. We are based out of both Rhode Island (2nd Platoon) and New Jersey (1st Platoon). Although we do wear the uniform of a typical Union Army soldier from 1861-1865, we also wear the unique Rhode Island state-issued early war uniform.  If you’re interested in history, honoring these brave Rhode Islanders, or just in having some plain fun, come join us in the field!
